Hypertension and atherosclerosis are associated near?

A) strokeB) heart attackC) aneurysmD) all of the above
ALL OF THE ABOVE. Hypertension and atherosclerosis are associated beside all of the 3 choices.
ATHEROSCLEROSIS is a disorder of arteries due to built up lubricant, cholesterol, and other substances in the walls of arteries forming frozen substances called plaque.
Such plaque deposits can create the artery narrow and smaller number flexible making it harder for blood to flow. As the result blood pressure will increase (HYPERTENSION).As the blood flow to the heart can slow down or stop it can cause chest aching leading to HEART ATTACK, and other symptoms.
Some parts of plaque can break apart and move through the bloodstream -it can lead to HEART ATTACK and STROKE. Blood clots can also form around the plaque deposits. Aside from blocking the blood flow, if the clot moves into the heart, lungs, or brain, it can cause a STROKE, HEART ATTACK, or pulmonary embolism respectively.
On the other appendage an ANEURYSM is an abnormal widen or "ballooning" of a portion of an artery, due to weakness within the wall of the blood vessel. The exact cause is not clear but HYPERTENSION and ATHEROSCLEROTIC disease are correlated as contributing factor in the formation of undisputed types of aneurysms.
